FAQ: I won the Harvard Book Club Award, does that mean I have a good chance of getting in?

No. Your school or the local alumni association handles the Book Club Awards, and they have very little direct pull in the admissions process. Sure it means your school thinks you have a shot at getting in, but that does not guarantee your acceptance in any way. It is still a nice token of their faith, and you should celebrate getting it!
