FAQ: What is a Likely Letter?

Colleges send a Likely Letter to students that they are likely to admit to their student body. If you receive one, it is very probable that you will be accepted. These letters are most often sent to athletes, and one should not despair if they do not receive one. The letters are a way for the colleges to lure in a highly wanted applicant before another school does.
